I love Yuletide and I'm glad I could be a part of it again this year.
Overall DNWs: graphic violence, rape, major character death, extreme gore, body horror, infidelity, bearding, homophobia and transphobia, fat hate, watersports, scat, eye and dental trauma.
Likes: Some angst and pain is okay if there's a happy ending. Friendships, bonds forged in adversity, banter, romance, trust. AUs are generally fine, especially if you do something interesting with them.
I am open to treats! And my AO3 name is metonymy, just like this journal.
Enchanted Forest Chronicles
Cimorene, Mendanbar
I love these two and they get SO little time to actually be a couple. Cimorene's vivacity and Mendanbar's far more chill energy are such an entertaining combination. I would love something from their early marriage, or from after Mendanbar is released and they reunite.
I love these books. They had a huge influence on my writing and probably on more of my brain than I would admit. Cimorene is an all-time great heroine, and while there's some "not like other girls" in her makeup, there's also appreciation for the uses of things like manners and protocol in handling problems. And Mendanbar is such a wife guy. He's so blown away by her from the moment they first meet. He doesn't try to box her in or change her, and they work together so well.
I'd be happy to see almost anything with these two, really, as long as it focuses on their relationship. Beach vacation? Scenes from their honeymoon? Private moments once Mendanbar is back and they have to catch up on the decade-plus they missed? Having other characters appear is fine, and I have a special fondness for Morwen if you'd like to include her.

Kushiel's Legacy
Joscelin Verreuil, Phèdre nó Delaunay
Ohhh these two. So ill-matched and yet so very, very in love. I'll read basically anything for them. Something from the ten years of peace? Something set after the Imriel books as they age? Visits to other lands? A visit to Alba to see Hyacinthe and Sibeal? Or, you know, just smut would be great too.
I can't help it, I love canon ships. Although this one has a very different vibe from the last one! This is a great opposites-attract ship and the trilogy really lets you see how their bond is strong enough to survive any challenge.
The world of Terre d'Ange is vast, so I think there's a lot of room to explore what you'd like. I'm familiar with the Imriel trilogy but haven't read it as many times, but don't worry about anything from those books being a spoiler. (I also read Cassiel's Servant and enjoyed it tremendously.)
One note: I know "infidelity" is on my DNWs. I don't think Phedre's assignations fall under that, so if your story happens to include that, no worries. (Infidelity would be more... whatever she has going on with Melisande, I guess.)

Lady Eve's Last Con
Jules Johnson, Ruth Johnson
SISTERS. Even though they're separated for so much of the book, I feel like I have such a strong idea of how Ruth and Jules are together. Seeing an earlier con would be fun, or even the one before the book starts where Jules meets and falls for Esteban. Or something in the future when the wee one makes an appearance - does Jules mind when Ruth starts teaching the kid how to spot a mark, or are they trying to go straight?
I had such a fun time with this book. I love a screwball comedy, and this braids its influences and the heist and sci-fi parts together into a delightful whole. Ruth is a great heroine, too. And as a big sister myself, I deeply relate to doing anything for my sister and being willing to tear the universe apart for her. Or, you know, set up an elaborate revenge plot on anyone who wrongs her. We only see Jules for a little bit of the book, but what we do get shows that she is just as smart and sneaky as Ruth. So I would love to read more about them together!
Other stuff I love about this book: the way the sci-fi parts are peppered in but it's not hard SF with pages of math. The way Ruth's Jewishness, and Jewishness in general, is baked into the setting. The fashion! The integration of technology into the frivolous fun the very rich folks are having!
I also really loved Sol and her relationship with Ruth; I didn't request her because I want the focus to be on Ruth and Jules, but I would be fine if she's a part of the story as well.
I don't mind explicit content if you decide to include Sol or other characters but would prefer not to read incest for this fandom.
The Fall Guy (2024)
Colt Seavers, Dan Tucker, Jody Moreno
I'm gonna be real, I watched this on an airplane and it was delightful and I have no specific desires but I would love to read more stuff about them. What was the first movie all three of them worked on? What about the sequel to Metalstorm? Or just recovering from the chaos of the events of the movie? I think Colt and Dan's friendship is great and Colt and Jody (or their respective actors) have great chemistry and would just enjoy them hanging out together.
Honestly the first sentence of this prompt kind of says it all. "The Fall Guy" is a perfect airplane movie. The whole sequence with Colt and Dan in the loft is just outstanding. And I'm glad that Jody also gets to take part in the action instead of being a damsel in distress at any point. I just really enjoyed this and think it's a fun trio to play around with. If you love action movies there's so many ways to go and so many movies to riff on.
